Karen J. Hagman

Karen Hagman was called to the Ontario bar in 2018. She holds a B.A. from Lakehead Universi-ty, and a J.D. from Lakehead University’s Bora Laskin Faculty of Law, from which she graduated on the Dean’s List for high academic standing. Karen completed her Practice Placement at the Dryden Crown Attorney’s Office as part of Lakehead University’s integrated practice curriculum, and has gained work experience with our firm as a summer law student, and with the Dryden Crown Attorney’s Office. Karen’s practice is general in nature with an emphasis on family law and civil litigation. Karen is a member of the Thunder Bay Law Association, the Ontario Bar Association, and the Advocate’s Society. Karen sits on the Board of Directors for the Thunder Bay branch of the Women’s Legal Education and Action Fund (LEAF), a charitable, non-profit organization that works to advance the substantive equality rights of women and girls in Canada.
